Zhao was the former CFO of China Eastern Airlines between 2002-2018, one of the longest serving one. He also served as the SVP of China Minsheng Investment Group before joining Greenore in 2022. Prior to his position at China Eastern Airlines, he was appointed as the CFO of the Chinese largest heavy-duty truck company Shaan’Xi Truck by the parent company which was also the owner of Yingde Gas before it was sold to PAG.

Zhao has 30 Years C-level expertise in both the top state-owned and private enterprise in China. Throughout his career, he has profound experience and knowledge in M&A, Public and Private Mixed Ownership Reform, as well as Finance and Accounting.

Zhao obtained his Master in Accounting from Chinese University of Hong Kong. He also owns a B.E. degree in Foundry Engineering from Chongqing University, China.
